Clinical Microneedling

Clinical microneedling is also known as a Stimulation of Collagen Synthesis therapy. This is one of the newest techniques in aesthetic medicine to rejuvenate the skin, to remove wrinkles, scars, acne and pigmentation. Amiea med is a state of the art clinical microneedling device and is already working in our Medical Clinic.

How does Clinical microneedling work?

Very small and fine needles that form microscopic channels in the skin are used. Microneedles insert deep into the dermis active substances (hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, various drugs and active molecules) which accelerate cellular metabolism and blood circulation. These processes trigger the production of collagen, tissue regeneration and overall skin renewal. In turn, microneenling stimulates the synthesis of growth factors and lead to the production of collagen and renewal of damaged skin tissue. Microperforation causes destruction of the tissues of the old scars, stimulates the emergence of new collagen and elastin fibers and activates the natural production of collagen. The result is lifting effect, improving the skin color, freshness and elasticity.

Clinical microneedling is intended for the treatment of acne, removal of scars, wrinkles and pigmentation, rejuvenation and revitalization of damaged from the sun and tanning skin, and to remove stretch marks.

Is treatment painful?

Microneedling can be done at any time of the year. The procedure is completely safe and without risk of damage to the nerves and muscles. The manipulation is painless and discomfort is minimal. Amiea med device provides fast, precise and delicate pin-pricks that provide healthy synthesis of collagen and elastin fibers. Sterile and individual terminals depending on the particular problem and the treatment area are used. Epidermal injuries are minimal and after the procedure the patient can undertake his normal activities. No wounds, scars or swelling after the operation. The skin in the treatment area becomes red as if after exposure to the sun. Erythema may last for up to 48 hours.

The number of procedures depends on the specific problem and the characteristics of the skin. To achieve the desired effect are recommended 3-6 treatments with an interval of 3-4 weeks between treatments.

Can anyone undergo microneedling?

Microneedling should not be applied to pregnant and lactating women, patients with bleeding disorders, people with cancer, as well as allergies to the active substances used in procedures.

What areas can be treated?

All parts of the face and body may be processed. It is especially important to emphasize that eyelid skin can be treated.

Clinical microneedling is cheaper, but sufficiently effective alternative method of non-ablative fractional laser therapy.
